Invited by Jon Holtz, Buffalo High School's art teacher, Nik Fernholz, will present on the history of artists living with disabilities and why Art for All's program is so important for artists and the broader art community.

The presentation will feature ceramics artist Donna Ray. She will speak on her art practice, her experiences of inclusion in the broader arts community, and her method to create art as a blind artist.

Donna received her community education in clay at Artistry located in west Bloomington, Minnesota. Working with every type of clay body to produce one of the kind art, she creates useful but fantastical sculptural art. Donna was recognized as the 2019 recipient of the BISQUE residency program at the Northern Clay Center  (NCC) and featured in the Center's Emerging Artist Grant Recipients exhibition at the beginning of 2021. Donna currently maintains her studio at NCC where she has remains an active part of their Studio Program and community.

Donna's virtual solo show, "Black & White with a Touch of Color" at ICI's Art for All online gallery will open in the spring of 2021. Thank you to Laurie Ryan, Richard Vincent (richardvincentpottery.com), and NCC for your support.
